Work with Reports
CoroPlus® Machining Insights Reports will help you to answer the question, “How have my machines performed historically?”. The software merges the data streamed from the machine and the operator input. You can make data-driven decisions in the shop based on the merged information.
Open a report
- Click Reports in the left toolbar or on the main page.
- Select the category or search for a report, like Activity Summary & Details, in the search field.
- Click, for example, Activity Summary & Details to open the report.
Note:
The names of categories are defined during the configuration of CoroPlus® Machining Insights and can be named differently in your company.
Switch to another report
If you already have a report open and want to switch to another report, do the following:
- Click the report name. This will open a list of all configured reports.
- Filter the list if necessary.
- Click the report you want to switch to.
Download your data
Not all, but many reports allow you to download the data as a CSV file.
Click the Download button to download the data.
Activity Summary & Details
The Activity Summary & Details displays the shop's utilisation and combines the operators' information in one place.
The Overview tab helps you to get an overview of all activities of the machines. Find out when and where there were machine failures, for example. Then filter your data to get a closer look.
You can filter the view by
- Day and device,
- Day and shift,
- Week,
- Week and shift,
- Month,
- Month and shift.
Filter the visible data by device and time frame will help you to look for a specific Activity or State you want to investigate. Then once you have the focus point you can download the data into a CSV file and share with a team for a focus point.
Part Metrics
The Part Metrics Report provides information about how parts are produced on any machine. It helps identify problem areas in the production process flow per part, considering all the equipment required to produce that part.
You can filter the view by Day, Week and Month. In addition, each of these time frames can be filtered by
- Part,
- Part and shift,
- Part and device or
- Part, shift and device.
Click the funnel icon in the right corner of a column to filter or sort the column's content.
Tool Performance
The Tool Performance report allows you to look at the information on how the tool runs the shop. The report displays the in-cut duration of the tool.
You can filter the data per Day, Week or Month in combinations with Tool, Part, Device and Shift.
Click the funnel icon in the right corner of a column to filter or sort the column's content.
Override Loss Analysis
One of our advanced reports for our Platinum users is the Override Loss Analysis report. The report can help assure that programs are running according to plan. If there is a variance, it can be noted and followed up to improve the program or setup. The Override Loss Analysis report will highlight the time lost using the machine's override feature.
You can filter the visible data by device and time frame to narrow your search for a specific variance.
Click the funnel icon in the right corner of a column to filter or sort the column's content.
Advanced reporting capabilities
CoroPlus® Machining Insights has three features to enhance how to look at utilisation.
Feature | Definition |
Trend Line | Pattern of use across selected date range. |
Average | Row: Mathematical average of the metric for a device across the date range. Use this to see the average performance for a device across a time period. Column: Mathematical average of the metric for the date interval across devices. Use this to see the average performance on a given day across devices. |
Change | Indicated by an up-arrow/down-arrow/hyphen and indicates whether there has been improvement over data in the past
